DOJO Xpresso is a registered business name of DOJO DFS PTY LTD (ABN 13 667 172 125). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit dojoxpresso.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

  • Contact and order details — your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing addresses, and what you ordered.
  • Payment information — processed directly by Shopify Payments. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Account information — if you create an account, your login details and saved addresses.
  • Device and usage information — your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit on our site and how you arrived there.
  • Communications — anything you send us by email, phone or the contact form.
  • Reviews — if you leave a product review, the name and content you submit.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used, and measure whether our marketing reaches the right people. Some cookies are essential for the site to function; others are analytics or advertising cookies you can control through your browser settings.

The specific platforms that collect or receive data through our site are:

  • Shopify — our ecommerce platform. Shopify hosts this store, processes checkout and payments, and provides our sales and traffic analytics. Shopify sets essential cookies required for the cart and checkout to work. See the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy.
  • Judge.me — our product review platform. If you leave a review, Judge.me processes your name, email address and review content, and displays your name and review publicly on our product pages. See the Judge.me privacy policy.
  • Google — we use the Google & YouTube channel to list our products on Google Shopping, and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Google may set analytics and advertising cookies. See Google's privacy policy.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop the cart and checkout working.

How we use your information

  • To process and deliver your order, and to contact you about it.
  • To provide customer service and answer your questions.
  • To send marketing emails, if you have opted in. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link and you can opt out at any time.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, and to keep the store secure.
  • To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
  • To meet our legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers we need to run the business: Shopify (platform and payments), Australia Post (delivery), Judge.me (reviews), and Google (product listings and analytics). We may also disclose information where required by Australian law.

Where your information is stored

Our platform and service providers may store and process your information outside Australia, including in the United States. Where that happens we rely on those providers' contractual and technical safeguards to protect it.

How long we keep it

We keep order and transaction records for at least seven years, as Australian tax and business record-keeping law requires. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe. Other information is kept only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected.

Your rights

You can ask us to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it's wrong, or delete it where we're not legally required to keep it. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, contact us first — and if we can't resolve it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

If you are visiting from outside Australia

We currently sell and ship within Australia only, and this policy is written to Australian law. If you are visiting this site from elsewhere, including the European Union, the United Kingdom or the United States, we extend the same rights to you regardless of where you are: you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it, request a copy of it, object to us using it for marketing, and unsubscribe from marketing at any time. Contact us using the details at the end of this policy and we will respond.

If we begin selling internationally, we will review and update this policy before doing so.

Children

Our products and this store are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top.
